The Fenty Sweet Mouth Gloss Bomb is a bubblegum pink shade with a gold frost finish. It’s quite different from anything I’ve owned before in that it’s a lot less blue or purple than most of the other pinks I own. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it certainly is something to consider before purchasing this product.
First Impressions
The lip gloss itself is very moisturizing and has a delicious vanilla scent to go along with its unique formula that tints your lips while providing some radiance and shine.
What I love about the Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer is that it creates a smooth, pigmented finish on the lips yet gives off a transparent tint to the skin. Although it is not sticky or tacky, it does have a high-shine finish. It has the consistency of a lip balm but is slightly more liquid. It is not sticky like some glosses could be. The scent is pleasant and barely noticeable, which is something I love about Fenty products.
You get 9ML of product despite its small packaging, which means that this tube will last you for a very long time!
Application
The applicator is unique and unlike the majority that other lip glosses come with. It’s more like a brush with soft bristles that help create the perfect gradient on the lips. The formula can be layered on so you can achieve your desired level of sheerness or pigmentation.
Do not use this product directly from the tube, as it may develop “clumps” and make the application messy. Instead, I recommend taking the product out of its packaging and applying it with a brush or fingertips.
I’ve tried applying this product with brushes and my fingertips. It works nicely with both methods. I feel that the fingers are the best method since it’s easier to get an even application with your fingertip.
The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer is quite pigmented, so be careful when applying it, especially around the edges of your lips which can be easily stained by this product. This product sharpens up once you start rubbing it on your skin and makes a slight sheen on top. It gets greasier as you rub it on further.
Final Thoughts
I would highly recommend the Fenty Sweet Mouth lip gloss if you would like to have a beautiful makeup look that glides smoothly on your lips. This gloss gives off a weightless, silky feeling such that one can wear it for hours without the need of reapplying.
